Adrianne and Evaldas’ elopement at Cantigny Park was everything I love about elopements and more. Adrianne and Evaldas wanted to keep their wedding day simple and focus on spending quality time with one another which I am all for. They chose Cantigny Park for their elopement day because of its gorgeous gardens, convenient parking and variety of spaces that make up the grounds. All this made for a gorgeous and stress free elopement day!
Adrianne and Evaldas reached out to me to document their intimate elopement day in early 2022, knowing that they wanted timeless wedding portraits that reflect this exciting season of life that they’re in. Cantigny Park does require a permit to take wedding portraits there which is honestly great for elopements. Having permits required to photograph a wedding or elopement at Cantigny, ensures that you will have a more intimate day as less people are likely to be around taking photos throughout the park.
Cantigny Park is one of my favorite places in the Chicago suburbs for wedding portraits. The grounds of Cantigny Park are full of so many unique gardens and beautiful scenery that make for perfect locations for an elopement or wedding portraits. Adrianne and Evaldas had their families with them at the start of their elopement day which was so special for them. Being able to have their closest loved ones with them to celebrate and take part in this next chapter of their lives together meant so much for both of them. After a few family portraits Adrianne, Evaldas and I made our way through Cantigny Park, taking portraits and having the best time together on the park’s grounds.
I loved being a part of Adrianne and Evaldas’ elopement day at Cantigny Park. Being able to help capture these memories that they’ll be able to look back on for the rest of their lives together was such a beautiful experience. I love how intimate and personal elopement days are, so if you’re looking for a photographer for your own elopement head to my contact page. I’d love to be a part of your day and help create a day and experience you’ll cherish forever!
