Leah and John’s elopement at Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool was nothing short of magical. Leah and John knew they wanted to keep things intimate and simple for their wedding day so they worked together to create the perfect afternoon in the city. Surrounded by their closest friends, they were married in Lincoln Park and spent their afternoon documenting this sweet moment with newly wed photos!

Their Elopement at Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool

Leah and John gathered at Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool with their closest friends for their Intimate Elopement.  They kept things simple by having one of their best friends officiate their ceremony, and Leah put together her bouquet with flowers from Whole Foods.  Surrounded by their closest friends Leah and John tied the knot at the Lily Pool and it was such a special moment to witness and be a part of. We then spent the following hour and a half taking some portraits throughout the Lincoln Park Boardwalk.

Newlywed Portraits in Lincoln Park Zoo

Lincoln Park Zoo is one of my favorite Chicago locations for wedding portraits as there are SO many unique and iconic spots throughout the zoo.  After their elopement ceremony at Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool we headed to the boardwalk for portrait photos. We took our time walking around the North Pond before heading over to the honeycomb. The honeycomb is one of THE coolest spots in the city for portraits. The structure is so much fun to work with and has a beautiful backdrop of the Chicago skyline and the greenery of Lincoln Park.
