Karina and Israel’s newlywed session at Cannon Beach in Oregon was breathtakingly gorgeous and so much fun to photograph. Karina herself is a wedding photographer and with her and Israel recently getting married they wanted to capture themselves as they are as they head into this new chapter of life together. I absolutely love newlywed sessions and am so glad I was able to be a part of Karina and Israel’s.
Located on the northern side of Oregon on the shore of the Pacific Ocean this iconic beach is a truly incredible location that shows some of the beauty that Oregon has to offer. In addition to the long sandy shoreline Haystack Rock is the biggest attraction and point of interest at Cannon Beach. The huge rock formation just off the coast makes for the most perfect backdrop for any session and is what made Cannon Beach the perfect choice for Karina and Israel’s session. With the beauty of Cannon Beach it can be pretty popular, especially during the summer between the months of July and September. Karina and Israel’s session was in late May and while it was a little cooler the beach was practically empty which was an incredible experience!
Karina and Israel were SUCH a fun couple to work with and photograph during their session. They’re both fun loving and a total riot to be around, and with such a fun energy between the two it made their session a total breeze. We stayed at Cannon Beach for the entirety of their newlywed session and got a beautiful mix of fun and intimate photos all with the beautiful backdrop of Haystack Rock behind them. Karina wore all white while Israel was in all black and then they each wore a beanie of the opposite color. These outfits combined with the cooler tone of the day that we had made for such a great look that I am so in love with.
I am SO glad that I was able to capture Karina and Israel celebrating their marriage with their newlywed session at Cannon Beach. They were the perfect couple and that combined with the gorgeous backdrop of Cannon Beach made this a session I’ll always cherish! If you’re looking to book me for a newlywed session I’d love to hear from you. Head to my contact page and we can get to planning.
