Miette and Kelly chose Lincoln Park Conservatory as the location for their intimate elopement, which turned out to be the perfect spot for their special day. These two share such a sweet and emotional love for one another and being able to capture this incredible celebration between the two of them was a dream come true.

Their Elopement at Lincoln Park Conservatory

I absolutely love elopements because of how personal, intimate, and individual they are. Every couple’s elopement is different as every relationship is different, making them some of my favorite days to photograph! Miette and Kelly’s day started in the Lincoln Park Conservatory where they shared an intimate elopement ceremony surrounded by the beauty of the conservatory. After they said their vows Miette and Kelly opted to share some cupcakes to celebrate their elopement which was such a sweet touch. Their parents then joined them to congratulate the two on this next chapter of their lives together. After some time mingling and taking portraits around the conservatory, we headed outdoors for some newlywed portraits with the Chicago skyline in the distance.

After their elopement ceremony, we wanted to capture some portraits outside of the Lincoln Park Conservatory with Chicago in the background. Complete with some champagne and a beautiful sunset for their portraits Miette Kelly and I had a ton of fun together with their portraits. There’s so much emotion that goes into and comes out of an elopement day, being able to capture these emotions as a photographer is one of, if not my favorite part of my job. Seeing both Miette and Kelly light up while with one another and celebrating this next chapter of their lives together was such a great experience and had me smiling the entire day!
