Abhilash and Sindhu had such a special sunrise session at North Avenue Beach and Lincoln Park. Between the beautiful sunrise, Sindhu’s gorgeous red dress and the beauty of their two locations there was a lot to love about this session. These two are getting married in India this month but wanted to get some photos beforehand to celebrate their relationship as they head into this new chapter together.

Choosing a Time and Place for Your Session

When it comes to choosing the when and where for your session there are a couple things you’ll want to keep in mind.  Think about the lighting of your session, typically sunrise and sunset will give you the best lighting for your photographer to work with. This does vary by location though so ask your photographer for their input as well. You should also consider what kind of backdrop your location has. You’ll want to choose something with a little variety so that your photos don’t all revolve around the same center piece. Choosing a location with a variety of backdrops is something you should look for. For Sindhu and Abhilash they chose a sunrise session at North Avenue Beach for the close proximity to Lincoln Park as well as the gorgeous lighting that the beach gets at sunrise.

Sunrise Photos at North Avenue Beach

When I talk about a gorgeous sunrise I mean absolutely GORGEOUS. North Avenue Beach is known for its beautiful sunrises and sunsets and the one we got for our session was no exception. Adding to the beauty was Sindhu’s red dress which popped so much in the sunlight. It was a pretty windy morning as well which made the dress even more fun to work with during the session!

Lincoln Park

A little after sunrise we took a quick walk over from North Avenue Beach to Lincoln Park for the second part of Sindhu and Abhilash’s session. Our first stop was at a nearby pond where the two spent a little time dancing and loving on each other. The love between Sindhu and Abhilash is so sweet and pure, it was so special being able to capture this moment between the two of them. After a wardrobe change we headed over to the Nature Boardwalk for the final part of our session. This sculpture is a staple of Lincoln Park and is SO much fun to work with. It was the perfect way to cap off Sindhu and Abhilash’s session.

I’m so happy that I was able to capture this part of Sindhu and Abhilash’s journey towards their marriage. They’re such a fun and sweet couple and we couldn’t have asked for a better sunrise session at North Avenue Beach.
